What I Ate For Lunch Today

I’m going to do something a little different today.  Rather than posting about the Pen’s sweep of the Senators, or about how much I suck at something (which I could easily do by the way, I gave up 10 goals in a roller hockey game yesterday), I’m going to post about what I ate for lunch today.

Today, I met my roommate, Noodle, for lunch at Bluefin in Plymouth Meeting.  If you love sushi, this is the place you want to be.  I have eaten at this restaurant somewhere around 6 or 7 times now, and every time is just as good as the last.  This was my first lunch experience, and the food was just as good, only it was cheaper.  For $17, you get soup or salad, 3 pieces of tuna, 3 pieces of salmon, and a crunchy spicy tuna roll.  This is much more doable than the $40-$60 I would usually drop there for dinner.

If you decide to go there on my recommendation, don’t drive up, take one look at it, refuse to enter, and then curse me out for making you drive all the way out Plymouth Meeting to what appears to be a rub n tug in the middle of a strip mall.  Go through with it!!  You won’t regret it!  Even when you are inside, the restaurant itself is small and has very little in the way of decor, but it is clean, and I don’t go to an eating establishment for the decor.  The fish there is so fresh and so well prepared, that once you eat it, you will crave it continuously until you have it again.  It’s like Japanese crack.

So that’s my segment called, What I Ate for Lunch Today.  Next time I will review my favorite cheese steak place of all time, Mama’s.  And never fear, tomorrow i will return to bitching about something instead of praising something. All will be right with the world again.
