Penn State vs Illinois Predictions

After watching Oregon State dismantle #1 USC on Thursday night, there is a very real chance that IF Penn State can run the table, and do so in an impressive fashion, that they could have a shot at the National Championship game.

The first game they need to win to get there is against Illinois tonight at 8pm.  This is a huge game.  The Illini took advantage of an Anthony Morrelli meltdown last year and beat Penn State.  Tonight Penn State needs to get some sweet revenge.

Their stud is Arrelious Benn, a 6’2 220 lb monster of a wide receiver.  He is a beast and a play-maker.  If the Nittany Lions can contain him, as well as keep their QB, Juice Williams, from hurting them with his legs, the Lions should be able to dominate #22 Illinois.

Penn State can not, and will not, look past any game the rest of the season, and this one is no exception.  This is a prime time game, at home, with Penn State fans putting on all the white they can find for a signature ‘White Out’.  Joe Pa will have the troops focused and ready to play.

Penn State got many positivecomments from the ESPN crew during Thursday nights game, and it seems they are finally getting the respect that they deserve.  Let’s prove them right by taking care of business tonight in the Big 10 opener.  LETS GO STATE!!
